Great character in the building. I was a little disappointed in the food as it didnt feel appear as though it was made in their kitchen instead it felt like it was 'bought in'. We also had to change our drinks glasses twice as the glass smelt like an old cloth was used to dry them.As always, if you found this review useful please remember to like it. This is a small boutique style hotel about 15 minute drive from Leeds city centre. We had a bed and breakfast deal (4 breakfast supplement per person). We checked into the hotel at about 9pm and managed to change and freshen up before making our way to the hotel restaurant just before last orders at 9.30pm. We were the only table but we didnt feel rushed. The menu choice and quality of food was average whilst pricing was comparable for a hotel. We stayed in room 5 Foulard which was an executive room. The room was spacious and felt homely unlike a typical hotel room. The deep pile carpet was soft to walk barefooted and it was equipped with all the basic amenities (tv, coffee & tea making facilities, toiletries, hair dryer and bath robes). Breakfast was served from 7-10am and there was a choice of continental or full cooked breakfast. This was not the usual buffet style but was cooked to order. The food and beverage team were polite and reception was efficient with check in/out procedures. We had a pleasant experience at the Woodlands hotel in Leeds and would consider staying again.

Attended a wedding and this venue was amazing. The ceremony was put together well and the hotel staff we always on hand to help. The meal was great and the kitchen staff went out of their way to ensure my family had all their needs catered for due to allergies. Im not sure how the wedding party would rate the venue but as a guest I would definitely recommend that you looked into holding a wedding here

Absolutely gorgeous place. I thank all the staff. They were amazing to. Thankyou Lucy and Adam for a beautiful wedding. You are a beautiful couple xxx

It's quite a strange place, though it has its charms. We had to ask to move rooms as the first room smelt vile. The second room was above the boiler room so very loud. Breakfast was great. Bar closed at 10 pm. Not bad value for money.
